Back in our hometown of Jacksonville, we decided to revisit one of our tried-and-true spots — Master Minds Escape Room. This time, we brought along my sister. She was joined by one of her longtime friends. They were ready to crack clues and race the clock.

A Surprise Twist Before the Game Began
Right as we were getting ready, two couples asked to join our room. Turns out, they weren’t vibing with their original group and wanted to switch.
I welcomed them with a smile. I also gave a friendly heads-up:
“Just so you know, we’re here to WIN.”
Truth be told, I was hoping our group of five would fly solo. But hey, more people, more brainpower… right?
Well — we didn’t exactly escape. 😅
Two Rooms, One Clear Favorite
We tackled two rooms that night:

This one was full of tricky math and fast-paced fun. Even though we didn’t beat the clock, we had a blast trying.
🔬 Science-Themed Second Room
Let’s just say… not our vibe. It leaned heavily into lab coat territory. Our crew prefers fantasy and horror over test tubes and equations.
