I’ve always dreamed of going to a Dallas Cowboys home game. Growing up, it was the team in our house—especially thanks to my dad. That love stuck with me. My incredible mother-in-law surprised me with game day tickets and a stadium tour. I was floored. Total bucket list moment!

The Walk (a Little Adventure)

Even though the stadium is technically “walking distance” from the hotel, let me tell you—it was a hike. We ended up strolling under freeways and across highway bridges. Not exactly the scenic route, but honestly? It was peaceful and fun, because I was with my favorite person.

There’s just something about walking hand-in-hand with your spouse, laughing about how this wasn’t on the brochure. My husband is beyond the best human being—calm, kind, adventurous, and always making me feel seen. I’m constantly reminded how lucky I am to do life with him.

Highlights from the Trip

• AT&T Stadium Tour:
  Walking through the players’ tunnel, exploring locker rooms, and standing on the field—it gave me chills.
• Game Day Energy:
  Cowboys fans are next-level. The music, the cheering, the vibe—it was electric. Seeing my team live? Unreal.
• Texas Eats:
  We ate so well. BBQ, Tex-Mex, stadium snacks—it was a flavor-packed few days.

Cowboy History Fact

The Dallas Cowboys were established in 1960. They became the first team to win three Super Bowls in four years. That dynasty in the ’90s still echoes through the fan base. America’s Team for a reason.
