️Try Until It Clicks: Why You Don’t Have to “Have It All Figured Out

Some people find their calling early.
Others — like me — take the scenic route.

I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years. Different jobs, random gigs, even a few “this might be the one” business opportunities. I’ve been all over the place trying to figure out what lights me up.

And you know what I learned?
Trying new things isn’t flaky — it’s faith in motion.

We Don’t All Have One Path — And That’s Okay

I’m the “do-it-all” type. I love jumping into new things, learning skills, solving problems, and helping people in creative ways. I’ve worked jobs I didn’t love because I had to pay the bills. And I’ve chased passions that didn’t pay the bills… which also wasn’t fun.

So I had to find a balance:
Make room for what brings you joy. Stay rooted in what sustains your life.

This isn’t about chasing dreams with no plan.
It’s about trying enough things. Eventually, you find the thing that clicks. It’s the one that pays you and fills you.

The Truth About “Doing What You Love”

People say, “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
I say:
“Do what you love — and learn how to make it work for your life.”

Sometimes that means taking a side gig to fund your big idea.
Sometimes it means working a job that doesn’t thrill you yet, but gives you the flexibility to build what will.

Either way, the goal is to keep moving. Keep trying.
Keep listening to what lights you up — even if it doesn’t pay you yet.

Don’t Wait to Love It Later — Look for What You Love Now

I never wanted to wait to fall in love with something after doing it for years. I want to feel excited while I’m doing it. That doesn’t mean every task is joyful — but it means the mission matters enough to keep me showing up.

So if you’re still figuring it out — good. You’re not behind. You’re brave.

🔁 Daily Grounding Reminder:

“It’s okay to explore, but keep your feet on the ground. Passion is powerful — but provision is necessary.”

You don’t have to pick just one thing forever. But you do have to be honest about what season you’re in.

Sometimes you hustle. Sometimes you build.
Sometimes you rest and recover from it all.

🎯 Try This Today:

Make a list of 5 things you’ve done — jobs, hobbies, side gigs, whatever.
Next to each one, write:

  • Did it bring me joy?
  • Did it support me financially?
  • Would I try something like this again?

You might be surprised what stands out. Clarity loves action.

Final Word:

You don’t need to have one perfect passion.
You just need to keep showing up, trying things, and paying attention to what makes you feel alive.

Because one day, you might just wake up and realize:
“Wait… this thing I love? It became the way I provide.”

And that? That’s the kind of full-circle moment worth working for.
